Daybook

Help test Daybook

Daybook is a free, private app for quitting porn without shame. Before it launches, we are looking for a few people to use it for two weeks and say honestly what helps and what does not.

What it is

  • Log urges and slips in a few taps, honestly.
  • See the hours and moments that are hardest for you, from your own log.
  • SOS for when an urge hits: breathe first, then a tool that fits the moment.

A slip does not reset you to zero. What you build stays yours, because a slip is data, not failure.

How to try it

Today, on any phone or computer

Open Daybook in your browser with the button below. Nothing to install and no account needed.

The iPhone or Android app

The apps are almost ready. Write to us with the link below and say which phone you use. For Android, add the email of the Google account on your phone, so it can be added to the test. You get an invite as soon as the app can be installed.

What we ask of you

  1. Use Daybook for two weeks, whenever it fits your day. There is no wrong way to use it.
  2. When the app asks, think about turning on anonymous counts. They show whether people come back, and the app shows exactly what is sent.
  3. On day 2, day 7 and day 14, open More, then Send feedback, and answer these in a few words:
    • What did you open Daybook for today?
    • After a hard moment or a slip, did Daybook help you keep going, or make it harder?
    • What one thing would you change?
    • How would you describe Daybook to a friend, in one line?
  4. If you are open to a 15-minute call, add an email to your feedback. It is never needed.

Your privacy

  • No account needed. Your log stays on your phone, or in your browser on the web.
  • Anonymous counts: whether the app was opened and how far setup got, more only if you say yes, never your words, your log or who you are.
  • Feedback is sent with no name and no email, unless you add one to get a reply.
  • No ads, no tracking, nothing sold.

The privacy policy says exactly what is kept.

If you are in crisis

Daybook is not medical care. If you are thinking about hurting yourself, call or text 988 in the US, or call your local emergency number.
